Alegeeter
I'm quite exited of the prospect of running FM at a higher speed !!!! FM isn't exactly the most memory demanding game but it does kind of get a bit slow once you are in 2014 (FM10). Will I notice a big difference from this RAM increase ? Kazza
Well actually if your PC or laptop has only 1 gb ram then adding another will help re processing. Laptops and PC's these days can use up to 3 gb ram re a 32bit system. That will help in my opinion added to a decent hard drive and cpu.
Smurf
Actually it won't be significant change in speed.
Johnlc
Did someone really just suggest a hard drive?
x42bn6
On Windows 7, it will have a decent speed boost because Windows 7 + Football Manager has a high memory footprint, and 2 GB will alleviate, if not stop, page swapping. Windows 7 + Football Manager + 1/2 apps should have a memory usage around 1 GB, so anything more will help slightly.
Kazza
Did someone really just suggest a hard drive? Lol yes that was me. What i meant was that keeping your hard drive uncluttered and only using about 50% seems to help. Seemed to have left that out..oops duh
crouchaldinho
When I went from 1GB to 3GB, I noticed a massive difference personally. In terms of FM, more RAM is a good thing and it will certainly make a difference to what you can run.
