Stamina and Pressing.

Stamina :

Does a player being tired effect his performance ?

How tired does he have to be ?

Pressing :

... using a team pressing game.

How far up the pitch do they press ?

Is the pressing being close or up the arse testing first touch pressing ?

Generally speaking as a rule of thumb:

Over 90 = fully tip top

80-90 = slightly tired

70-80 = tired

below 70 = darn near knackered

How much it affects a players performance depends largely on their role in the team, a tired goalkeeper isn't a huge concern really apart from the slightly increased likelihood of picking up an injury.

A box-to-box midfielder on the other hand will find it harder to cover the entire pitch and thus lose some of his effectiveness, similarly a poacher might not be quite as fast to the ball and miss a chance to score etc.

Pressing is 'close' enough to put a player under pressure if they receive the ball, basically not actually trying to hold his hand the entire match (ie. not man-marking) but close enough to try and avoid the player having time to pick out passes or a shot if they get the ball (and if the pressing player is fast enough/clever enough possibly to intercept the pass in the first place).

The actual manner in which a team presses differs slightly depending on the version of the game you're using (you haven't indicated if you're on the iPhone or PSP game?).

On the iPhone game the pressing 'point' is generally as the team enter your half HOWEVER it shifts slightly depending on the mentality you're using (with a defensive formation collapsing deeper before pressing and an attacking formation pressing further up the pitch).

You'll find some answers which are a bit more detailed about pressing in the games (and irl) a post I did (in reply to yourself a while ago I think actually?) on FMH Vibe a while back - I'm afraid you'll need an account on there to see it.
