pret
I have a player who was wanted by a few teams so I offered him out without placing him on the transfer list, he became unhappy, and said he felt alienated, and doesn't want to leave the club. Then he hands a transfer request in, whilst still being unhappy about feeling alienated. If he doesn't want to leave the club, why would he hand a transfer request in? Is this a bug, or am I missing something here?

pret
So it's like him saying that he'd rather not leave the club, but he'd rather leave the club than work for me?
busngabb
So it's like him saying that he'd rather not leave the club, but he'd rather leave the club than work for me? We had this discussion on here a while ago. It means he was happy at the club and didn't want to leave UNTIL you offered him out. Now, despite his affection for the club, he sees no other solution than to leave because you are forcing him out. There should perhaps be a conversation option to say 'I offered you to other clubs because the club needs the money, but we are delighted to have you here' etc. A climb down from offering him out.
