Gourcuff20
I'm currently coaching in Holland, at Ajax, where I can choose to have a Youth team or a Reserve team, both or none. I am usually buying lots and lots of youngsters, that need playing time to develop. I am usually only having a youth team, because the reserve team players get loaned out, but I am thinking about keeping them next year. Would it be a good idea instead of having a youth team, just to have a reserve team where all my youth players could play too? I have to say that I also have excelent training facilities. Arkas
Well that depends if the reserve team participates in a league with reputation as in spain then you better putting them there
small Mac
I have always presumed that a reserve league will be of slightly higher quality than a youth league and therefore players will develop a bit more in a reserve league. Personally i would always keep both a youth team and a reserve team because it gives you two teams to spread your high volume of youth players over, giving them a greater liklihood of getting match practice and development. Gourcuff20
I also have to say that I have State of the Art at the Youth Academy... does that make a difference?
