cruyff14 Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 They don't award medals for the coaches but if you are managing the United States their winning coaches receive the 'Order of Ikkos' (Ikkos was the first Olympic coach in ancient Greece). Also the Canadian ice hockey awarded all there coaches a gold ring for winning the 2002 Olympics , in true ice hockey tradition But if you want a winners medal that badly you could always take one of one of your players which is what Viktor Tikhonov the Russian ice hockey coach done in '92 by taking Nikolai Khabibulin's (He was the backup keeper) medal from him, and because of this he refused to play for the National team again.
