For me it's when the "season expectations" are: Expect you to win the league, Expect you to win the Cup, etc. etc. There's no fun anymore, no great joy in succeeding & disappointment if you don't win everything. Time to go! Also have to get away if the board countermand manager's decisions on players, coaches, etc. When is the writing on the wall to change jobs for you?
