errr...help!?

Recommended Posts

ok just started a new season, set expectations to consolodate within Seria B.

That gave me 1.1mil transfer budget and about 45k wage.

I budget adjusted to have 53k wage and about 600k transfer.

I sign a new contract.

My transfer budget is now 41k, so the board are annoyed that i'm spending 49k.

And most of that transfer budget is gone.

What's happened?!

You should have gone to the board and requested a new deal before the season started. I don't know if there's anything you can do about it now... got any deadwood you could offload? Otherwise it's Bosmans for another season... and all the good ones will already have signed for someone else.

This could well be a bad luck story... chin up!

try re-negotiating some of the players wages. move it from wages to appearance fees, this really helps if you have guys on high salaries who are regularly on your bench, also this doesn't feature in your wages budget (for some reason). it might at least help you bring it down a bit.

best of luck!

Just like when you take over a club at the start of the game, the board will have evaluated your position and the club direction etc. So when you signed a new contract they will have re-evaluated the situation and may have decided that the changes needed to be made to budgets etc.

Have their aspirations changed at all? Perhaps because you only had a year left on your contract they offered you more money to play with so as you would stay, since you have committed yourself to the club for 3 years they feel that there is plenty of time for you to do the business and so you don't need as big a budget.
