swisso Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 UEFA details the Champions League 2010/2011 Prize Monies here > http://www.uefa.com/uefa/management/finance/news/newsid=1528290.html Playoffs - €2.1m Group Stage - €3.9m + €550,000 per game (6 games) Last 16 - €3m Quarter Finals - €3.3m Semi Finals - €4.2m Final - Winner (€9m), Runner-Up (€5.6m) Money is paid when the draw is made i think. So Group Stage money is paid late August, Last 16 (February), Quarter Finals (April), Semi Finals (April) and finally the TV Revenue is paid after the Final is held in May. I'm not sure if SI are following the UEFA Prize Money accurately, but its generally been spot on over the years. Edit: I went into the semi finals of Bromley first endeavour into Chl - i was paid: 1/8 final £2.609.000 after match 1/4 final £2.870.000 after match 1/2 final £3.652.000 after match £ 21.739.000 on the 25 may for TV rights.
