He wants to leave because he doesn't want to leave the club and you asked him to leave the club and he didn't want to leave the club. Leaving the club is not something he would have considered until you transfer listed him therefore forcing his hand. It's all too complicated for the mind of a simpleton like a professional footballer. He seems particularly bitter about it, you'll get a message about receiving bullets in the post next.
