Should I train or Loan Youngsters Regens?

I managing manchester utd. I have got Fully upgraded Training and youth facilities, got fully upgraded youth academy. I have also got 21 coaches all rating 4 to 5 stars.

should i loan out youngster age 18 to 19 to other clubs even though i have the best facilities in the world.

Train and tutor them. I've played FM for years and always found loaning to be less effective.

The only exception is goalkeeper. Always loan goalies out to teams who will use them all the time.

If they aren't ready for 1st team, then I loan them out, but only to those team with good training facilities and they will regard him as a valuable member of the team. Otherwise, I keep them and play them in cup matches and easy opponents.

18 or under i aim to tutor them and take advantage of my facilities (when managing a good club of course) but once they hit 19, i send them out on loan if they are not ready to compete for a first team slot in my team

It depends on how much you plan on using them and how much the teams that you could loan them to plan on playing them.

Tutor them until they have got good mental abilities (Determination, and hidden personality traits like Professionalism). While doing that make sure there not seriously lacking in key attributes, by lacking i mean less than 7 or 8 for your young players, and use the individual training focus to get them up. Then loan them out, in my opinion regular competitive match experience cannot be substituted by good coaches and facilities, and while your tutoring them and improving there key attributes they'll be getting those benefits anyway. Keep an eye on their attributes when they return from loan and the moment you feel they are ready to become a squad rotation player then do so. It can be hard but you've got to give him a chance a some point, and playing at a higher level will escalate his rate of improving, although be aware that each player has a set potential rating and you should use your scout/coach reports before putting your faith him.

depends on their current attributes. if their attributes are above average to good or higher, start them from the bench and sub them on when you have games won, play the better newgens in league/fa cup matches. Depending how they do and the age of your players, maybe start the best 1's the following season

always been better to train and tutor your players on all the older fm's but on this version most people seem to agree on it's changed. on fm 11 the most effective seem to be to loan out your players...

i tend to loan out mine from the age of 17 if they are good enough to be playing first team football, have never seen any of them improve massivley though, even if they play all the time

If I have one or two really good prospects I move them to the first squad and use them as substitutes. Just playing 5 minutes every two matches really helps them get a feel of the big stage.
