Thinking about buying FM 2011 - Advice please!

Recommended Posts

Hi

Have been playing my FM 2009 save for two years now but getting bored with it. Thinking its time to upgrade.

In FM 2009 I run on large database with the following leagues "active" - English leagues ( Prem to Blue Sq ), Spanish ( Primera and second leagues ), Italian ( A + B ), French ( top divison only ), Scottish ( Premier only ), Dutch ( top division only ), German ( top divison only ), MLS, Brazilian ( top division only ), Argentinian ( top divison only .

Will I be able to run a similar set up in FM 2011 on my laptop with these specs;

Base Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 cache)

Memory 4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x2048]

Keyboard Uk/Irish Internal Keyboard (QWERTY)

Video Card NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256MB dedicated graphic memory

Hard Drive 320GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive

I would like to have my database on large again if possible. How do you think my laptop will handle my preffered spec?

Thanks for any help

I would suggest that you will be able to run more leagues as FM 11 is more efficient than its immediate predecessors . A nice touch with 11 is that it has a built in custom database to load players from regions or countries so you can have a wider coverage without having to run all the leagues thus is more customizable/flexible to your tastes.

Thanks lads - appreciate it :)
