Daniel MUFC
Does anybody else let there view of a player in real life affect your decision to aquire the player in Football Manager ? I had the chance to sign Tom Huddlestone and didn't because he doesn't do enough in real life but in FM he's excellent and would have greatly improved my midfield. I think they call it cutting your nose off.
Clavin99
Huddlestone is quality in real life. But yer I get what you mean, I generally tend to ignore players from Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool. I enjoy picking players up from lower leagues and putting them straight in at the deep end. Daniel MUFC
I think he's quality too but he doesn't do enough. It must be hard with that belly.
Bergkamp.10.
Yeah some players that I don't like IRL I tend to stay away from
Keify
Only Robbie Savage! I think I do it the other way around though. Sometimes I might want to sign players who I like in real life but are not as good on FM or have declined with age.
AlecW81
Then there's the opposite... I don't watch a great deal of English footie, because I couldn't care less about ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal, et. al. As a result, my opinion on players isn't skewed by a fans bias. I'm all about finding underpaid and undervalued gems.
