Player searching

When using the players search option what age do you search for players? 18-30? 18-25?

I search using parameters that will find the player of an age I want - Come on man, think about it

Varies from player to player, and their position. I wouldn't usually consider a 35 year old striker, but I would for a keeper. That said, the club you're at and the budget available to you comes into play too. Chelsea, for example, probably wouldn't go for a 33 year old midfielder, but Stafford Rangers might. If you've no money, and can't be choosy, then you might take him on. There's too many variables for there to be a uniform answer.

As Villa manager, I tend to look for outfield players between 21-27, though this is by no means a hard and fast rule.

You use common sense and judge based on their stats, aswell as a few other things.

Depends on what club you are managing and at what level.

When I start out as a BSN club I sign everything with a hint of quality 18 or 35 years old.

When in the premiership and planning ahead I never sign players above 30, and rarely between 25-30.
