Different computers

I've gave my friend FM to install on his computer because he's not very fortunate like me to just go out and buy the game on the day so please forgive me if I'm doing wrong giving him the game but as I said he's my friend. Anyway, it wont let him install it through steam due to the code already being used by me obviously, is their a way to install it through steam or is he just going to have to play offline.

Not that I am aware of as you have installed it though steam. Could he not give you the money to buy a copy for him or better still he can buy direct from steam.

It's a breach of the EULA to do this so you're unlikely to find any sympathy or official support. Unfortunately no company can afford to be a bleeding heart and look at it and say "Ah well he's not too well off so lets give it him for free" - harsh but the brutal truth.

The game is much cheaper now however, and the only way would be to deactivate your own steam code and then sell the game to your friend. I believe there is a deactivation URL or procedure due to the fact CEX and others still take the game on part exchange.

ah right guys, I thought that already before I gave it him. He's gone and bought it now anyway, thanks for the help guys.

Sob stories about poor friends and their inability to buy a computer game are usually 100% false and/or makes my stomach churn. I'm glad he finally found the tenner needed to buy the game because it's definitely worth it.
