begilsson Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 I'm at the end of the 2014\2015 season with Fiorentina and the board was happy to announce that they had completed the purchase of the Artemio Franchi on my request. Looking at the finances the purchase appear to have cost about £53million. Just wondering what the advantages with owning the stadium is? I know i can now expand if I get the board along, but what other advantages will i see? Will i see an increase in club stature? Gate reciepts, season tickets etc.? Smurf Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 It might give your club a better reputation, owning a stadium rather than renting it should increase revenue as you can now get stadium sponsorship etc. One of the reasons for buying a stadium is to "create a feel good atmosphere", so it might have a positive effect on your players moral etc. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
