santy001 Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 There is no 'no cd patch' - at least not legally - and the alternative way isn't endorsed either. With steam you can install the game and not require a CD however, this is how I have it myself as that way I can keep the CD for when I'm elsewhere for a few days like visiting family and still play it on a laptop etc just fine.
