ArsenalFan7 Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Just a quick question, I'm failing to see why he misses so many pens, in his last 2 he's missed 2 and I've always had this problem ever since he started taking penalties a few years back.. I'm confused as players with worse attributes for penalties somehow convert more.. Messi took pens last year and I don't think he even missed one. Luck seems to play a huge part in it though, my team went on a horrible run of missing penalties last season (missed something like 7/12) but this time round we're 100% so far. Then maybe it's because of his concentration. Not really tbh, he actually scored 2 before the penalty and then scored 30 seconds or so after the miss from a long shot.. It does happen in real life though (a team in the Swedish top league I think missed all their penalties last season), but not necessarily for years as you say it has been happening for with this player.
