January transfer window updates

thought it would be a good idea for us to all help each other keep FMH07 up to date.

why dont we post transfers that happen in real life in the changes.txt format on here, so we can just add them into out own changes file?

I already have a quite big file with lower league transfers that have happened since the games release that I shall, post shortly...

anyone think this is a good idea and want to help keep this thread up to date?

I'll try and post my file 2moro with loads of lower league transfers, I've also moved a few retired players into non league clubs. It will really become worth the time from 2moro though as there should be champ/prem transfers daily!

this is my changes.txt file so far. It Contains all the transfers from FMH07 release date to now (31/12/06) (I hope) ,also contains a few loan deals that are likely to become permanent and some, what I believe to be realistic player stat updates.

Good work mightyowl But i don't think that players like cole, rio, lennon, hargreaves, rooney and carrick have 200 PA

i am not sure if this has already been asked, but how do i get this updated onto my game thanks

... but it isn't working it says inisilising new game and stops just before halfway i copied and pasted from the post and pasted it in word saved it on my desktop then draged to common/fmh what have i done wrong

It needs to be saved in notepad/wordpad as a .txt format

just realised what a wolly i am lol i saved is in microsoft word got it in notepad now and it works thanks for your help and the transfer updates

Wise is Manager, not player. However if things keep like this he might become a player :\

regarding dennis wise...

I put him in the leeds squad because its slightly more realistic than having him in the swindon squad! theres no editing featrue for managers either

sean, regarding the player stat changes in my file, I suppose stuff like thats down to opinion but I'll review them...

hope people enjoy this. you will notice a few players transferred to strange clubs ( steve stone to Angers...), this is because they've been released from their clubs and do what I have done makes them free agents on the game. After testing this file only works efficiently when the english league is running...

the above upadate is 99% correct up until now...

would be good, although Ashikodi isn't on the database when using the english league so I don't think its poss to transfer him to watford

how come all players dont get loaded up when you play in some leagues like if you play in england not all aussies or scottish clubs etc get loaded up?

Paul Le Guen has been given a free transfer from Rangers lol

It saves memory. If you had the full database + everything else on at the same time your psp could run out of memory.

this is my latest changes file, apolgies for errors in previous versions but this is all tested except fot the last 5 lines I have only just added but see no problems with them.

Could anyone also let me know if they think any players are under rated on the games and I will look into it for future updates.

Please also note, when I issue a full update such as the above it is probably best if you use the full file and not just lines added to the bottom..

seagull, you mentioned the dean bowditch transfer from ipswich to brighton, at present that is only a loan deal but is it likely to become permanent? If so I'll look into it.

also, is he already loaned to brighton on the game?

not loaned to brighton in the game but would love to get him as he is at brighton now

is there any way of changeing managers ie pardew and curbs?

wen doing this and starting a new game it freezes on half way wen initalising new game??
