AcidBurn Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 There are a few quality players available for free on my current save, I have no chance of signing them as I am in the English league one. They are David Villa at 33 and Craig Gordon at 32, no one is interested in them at all not one single club. Personally I would have thought an MLS side might try to sign Villa as a designated player. sjm Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 In previous FMs and in this one too (although my experience is limited), players will lower their expectations if no one offers them a contract. You might have to wait several months, but they won't just join anyone. Check out their reputations - players don't like signing for clubs with reputations much lower than their own.
