Game Requirements

I searched for a thread on this and came up empty so i hope its all right to start one.

Now FM10 worked fine on my laptop but FM11 has had me spend half the day just trying to get to the start screen after many crashes.

Getting to the new game point i was astonished at the ratings for computer performance and game speed given - half a star in each case, with only England and all leagues.

Now I say astonished because according to the Vista recommendation levels?? (Found in the Games tab when you highlight the game) FM11 has a Recommended level of 3.0 and required of 1.0 yet my system at 3.5 can barely play the game it would seem.

Is there anyway I can increase the performance/speed for this laptop with FM11?

I actually found that this years game was EASIER on my old computer and let me run things like the stadiums (which I couldnt do in FM10 without stuttering) that is until it died on me and I had to replace it.
