Does better JPA/P on your coaches translate to better Newgens?

I got Zidane as a coach for my club, and he has 20 JPA, 20 JPP.

Then when my new youth intake comes in, I have a lad who is worth £5m at 16, and has 3.5* potential and already looks quite good. Very nice spread of attributes and is already quick.

Zidane is his favoured personnel.

Just a conincidence, or are you slightly more likely to get better Newgens if your coaches know how to spot a player.

I think that is just a coincidence. Higher JPA/JPP attributes should just mean that they are better at giving you ratings on your players, I don't think it has an effect on the players that are promoted.

Not related to the original post really...but I had Zidane as a Scout as well with 20 JPA and 20 JPP and he gave crappy ratings to 3 separate players that all turned out to be Wonderkids.....

have got the impression that good youth coaches/regular coaches means you get better regens

maybe its 100% suprestition, but thats how it feels anyhow

They can't be right on everything. At least once you get upto 20 for JPA, you'll almost never get an overestimate for a player, you tend to only get underestimates.
