Does anyone else find this odd?

Recommended Posts

I've been playing this game, and CM before, for about 10 years and have always noticed this. It's only now that I thought to post it here.

When you go to 'staff search' and use the filter, 'ask assistant to filter out unrealistic targets' is ticked. Does your assistant ever find it suspicious when he's asked to filter out unrealistic targets for an assistant manager position?

If I was asked to do that I might fear for my job, but these guys are very thick skinned ;)

LOL, i was thinking about this the other day.. would be a little nice addition..

Manager:"Please find me some suitable assistant managers for our club"

Ass.Man:"Why? Are you looking for an assistant manager?"

Manager:"Erm.. well how do i say this.. your tactical knowledge of 5 just doesn't cut it for this level.."

Ass.Man:"Well.. why don't you find it yourself then?"

Manager:"I was hoping you would be professional and carry on doing your job"

Ass.Man:"I think i should leave now before i say something i regret"

Coentrao, that would be cool, at the moment its more like this:

Manager: "I'd like you to help me find an assistant"

Assistant: "But... i'm your assistant..."

Manager: *Swipes hand* "These aren't the droids you're looking for"

Assistant: "These aren't the droids i'm looking for. I will help you find a suitable assistant"

Would be great if your chairman asks you to filter out unrealist manager targets!

Mike Ashley:"Please find me some suitable managers for our club"

Chris Hughton:"Why? Are you looking for a manager?"

Mike Ashley:"Erm.. well how do i say this.. your tactical knowledge got us promoted and mid table in prem.."

Chris Hughton:"Well.. why don't you find it yourself then?"

Mike Ashleyr:"I was hoping you would be professional and carry on doing your job"

Chris Hughton:"I think i should leave now before i say something i regret"

Absolute genius right there ^^

but I've noticed that the assistant does filter out targets who are/might be slightly interested...

they basically filter out those who aren't definitely interested/very interested (or that's been my experience)

I've actually signed staff and players that the assistant has filtered out as 'unrealistic targets' - perhaps a bad ass-man is bad at knowing what an unrealistic target is too?
