Is there a holidaying issue?

Got bought FM11 for Christmas so thought I'd give it a whirl.

I wanted to holiday through the first year and pick a newly promoted team, so I set the holidaying to the 20th June 2011 and left the game to run for a couple of hours whilst I toddled off to scoff more mince pies.

When I came back the game had come out of holiday mode on the 9th September 2011. Is this a known bug?

ive done the same as u (different date obv) and had no issue :S trial and error or maybe u misclicked? other than that i'd try it myself but im 100% busy all of tomorrow and going to sleep now, sorry xD

I shall try again and see if I get the same issue. I'm confident I did not mis-click the day and the month, I haven't had that much mulled wine!

Where's the option to auto-progress?

I know for dafuge's challenge you needed to set the holiday end date for ten days earlier as it went over by ten days.

Have just holidayed again to go into 2012, I set the date as June 20th 2012 and it's dropped me out of Holiday mode on the 1st June 2012. It is not auto-progressing.

I'm guessing this is a bug.
