Ok so I'm probably being thick but.........

Hey all - really hoping somebody can help me. Just starting my first game, all patched up ready to go and playing as the mighty Weston Super Mare. All set for my first fixture, marquee game against Bolton at home, selected my team as a mix of Under 18s and the handful of players im keeping but when I try and click the submit team button, absolutely nothing happens. Its like its not letting me progress because ive forgotten to do something but as far as i can see, i'm all set to go but the game isnt allowing me to go any further. Obviously much frustration has ensued and I'm hoping somebody could point out just how thick im being and allow me to move the game forward.....

Weird... absolutely no clue.

I can only suggest two things. Save the game, quit and reload FM to see if the problem is resolved. Other than that, save the game and upload it via FTP to the SI server and report the issue in the bugs forum.

Well, disappointingly the save and reload doesnt solve the problem. Picked my team, 11 players, all 12 subs and it only gives me the option to Undo Last or Cancel. Everytime i click submit team just doesnt actually submit team. Little frustrating to say the least. Cheers for the reply tho

I have had last year's edition get stuck on me in similar moments – usually when certain 'must respond' moments popped up or when a match ended (only it didn't). I remember going on a one day long holiday solved the problem. Can you do that?

Happy to give it a try but really not too keen if its a solution simply because this is stopping me from effectively playing a match. One Day holidays are going to rather take the fun out of the game if i cant access any matches

I have had something similar a couple of times.

Try clicking "back", then "forward", then "submit".

Sounds silly, but did the trick for me. Unless there's something you've not selected or something else you've overlooked perhaps.

Have you got any mail that you have to respond to? Might be worth checking them all again.

to get past it go on HOLIDAY for one day, however I suspect you must have missed something
