FrazT
That will be fine for FM and most other games.
Bruun
This will run old/newer games on medium. So it will be fine. But future games wont run very well. Because of the 512 mb dedicated, go for a graphics card with 1024 mb dedicated ?
Jedaye
dedicated memory on the GFX card means little if the GFX card is rubbish in the 1st place. Your better of with 512 on a great gfx card over 1gb on a rubbish one.
Bruun
Of course Jedaye.. But it was implied i ment a great 1 gb dedicated card
Jedaye
You didn't make that clear....hence the advice was not great. The laptop will do fine for a while yet, and nothing lasts forever.

harvs360
my knowledge of graphics cards are also poor and have been looking at a lappy with ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 550v graphics card and i believe this should be fine for FM11
Sean Taylor
After checking some benchmarking websites it looks as if the Nvidia GeForce GT 420M is better. These graphics cards you wrote, are Numbers 91 (Nvidia) and 102 (ATI Radeon) http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html
