Current Player & his Work Permit

Chile International Jean Beasejour's contract is up next summer, I offer him a new contract & his application for a work permit has been turned down

He's in his 3rd season with me, plays 20 or so games & season & as far as I know he's a Chile regular

Am I not playing him enough? Is he not getting enough International games?

There's interest in him so I think I'm just gonna have to flog him unless there's a way around it

has he played 75% of competitive international matches? If not you might struggle unless he is very very very good.

Maybe not, he's featured in 2 of the last 3

6 games last season, 10 the season before

I think I'll just cash in, I've 3 or 4 other players to play on the left

Shame really, he's a decent player & gets goals

Just checked the top Chilean players & they've played 18 or so over the last two seasons

I sold him to Athletico Madrid, he got a work permit there & plays even less now (???)

Unfortunately I wasn't able to appeal, I offered him a new contract 3 times, he accepted & each time he was refused a WP
