ArsenalMetro
In my FM10 save, I'm in 2030, and Kieran Gibbs just wrapped up his 6-year tenure at the helm of England. Now, first of all, he should never have been hired for that job in the first place, since he had literally no experience, and was given the job two weeks after his retirement. Anyways, in 2030, he won the World Cup with England. Which should set him up with the world's top managerial positions, right? Yeah, not so much. Three days after resigning from the England post, he gets hired as a youth coach at Inter. Seriously? Was this fixed in FM11 at all?
ArsenalMetro
Gonna bump this up, hope for an answer.
Tubey84
I'd chalk that up as a one off mate Never seen anything even close to that myself. Sol Campbell habitually got the England job in FM10 but I ignored it.
ArsenalMetro
Well, Gibbs got himself a managerial job...at Genoa, who are consistent 12th-16th place finishers in Serie A. Let's see if he can work his magic. Also, his successor, Matthew Wilson (regen, half-Mexican, came through the Chivas academy) got England knocked out in the quarters of Euro 2032. They sacked him, I applied for the job and got denied. Their new hire? Matthew Wilson.
