crash dumps?

Have been having a problem with my game for the last few days with saved games not loading, made a post earlier in the week, here it is for background info:

Now I can't even start a new game, it gets about two thirds of the way to loading up the game database and comes up with an error message about 'crash dumps' then the game doesn't respond and has to be closed. No idea what's gone wrong as I've done nothing different. A new file has also been created named 'crash dumps' in the Football Manager folder on my computer, it has created a DMP file for every time I have tried and failed to start a new game. Not sure what relevance this has but thought it's worth mentioning.

Does anyone have any ideas of why this has occurred/ways of fixing it?
