san_marino
last season my team spent 200k on taxes. now they spend 200k every month (over 2M a season!), it's a lot of money for small team. why it jumped so high? is there anything i can do to reduce it? Cougar2010
Did you make a large profit the previous season? Also I'm not sure if its included but have your wages increased significantly?
san_marino
yes i had large profit last season, got to champs league (+7M), and my wages did increase significaly. Is that it? .. so the more money i make - the more money i lose, right?
dafuge
A small club that makes a large quick profit (usually from player sales) gets hammered for tax the following year, it almost makes it pointless cashing in on your star players.

In terms of wages companies usually collect income tax from their employees and pass it on but I'm not sure if this is included in FM or not. If it is then higher wages would also equal more tax paid.
