I wouldn't have minded so much if it had been Lampard !!!

My Hammers are 2-0 down away to top of the table Chelsea who after 23 games have only conceded 8 League goals all season so it doesn't look good. I go for broke push forward and incredibly I get back to 2-2. I look at the clock and it's 88 minutes gone. What do I do, revert back to normal or keep attacking? I keep going and have a perfect chance of a one on one but dear old Carlton Cole seems to trip over his own feet!! The players do their Star Trek transporter bit and vanish only to reappear at a Chelsea corner. Corner comes in and Tomkins headers it out a good way. As it rolls to 35 odd yards out Piquionne seems to be doing up his laces and doesn't move as Chelsea's,, ahem,,, long shot specialist Boswinga with a long shot stat of 11 runs on to the ball and leathers it straight into the top corner to give Chelsea a 3-2 win.

It certainly hurt considering only two weeks previously I had been one up at Everton only to have two last ten minute long range efforts from those power houses of banana kicks Jack Rodwell (11 long range stat) and Leon Osman (14) pushing Everton to 3 points............

As I said I wouldn't have minded so much if it had been Lampard !!!

Unlucky, but these things do happen in football occasionally. Nobody would have expected Glen Johnson to score that wonder goal on his left foot, but I feel your pain, happens to me sometimes and its always worse when it's a player who's not a long shot 'specialist' :(

Sometimes players do shocking stuff :)

As a Luton fan I can say Keith Keane is probably one of our worst 'finishers' or just bad at shooting yet I'm seen him score from 25/30 yards out and even more crazy, directly from a corner to win a game in the 96th minute!
