Help needed

I was wondering if anybody could tell me the name of the progam that shuts down any unnecessary progams running in the background of your computer when gaming.I remember i used it a couple of years ago and it helped speed up Fm quite considerably but i cant remember what it was called.Thanks in advance

Looks like a good little piece of kit. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences of using it?

Personally, I didn't notice any difference. I expect it has a bigger impact on low-spec machines.

I noticed a discernable difference when i used it.
