haz32
There isn't an option to focus a players creativity development, so is there another option to improve it? I thought perhaps focussing on passing would do the trick?
TOUGHGUY
The Attacking training category should include Creativity, according to ingame information. Also perhaps tutoring?
MrPompey
I'd say that options like this and flair and more natural attributes to be developed rather than something that somebody can be trained in such as passing, fitness etc
Sheva Elite
Yeah, Attacking training is the only way.
celebritykiller
The idea is that individual training focus is solo/one-to-one training and hence some attributes don't make sense to be included in this (such as creativity).
pelicanstuff
There are a few attributes that do seem to be included though that probably shouldn't be. For instance, how do you train Composure on your own? Not possible IMO.
celebritykiller
My personal opinion is that non of the mentals should be trainable by individual focus.
chuz
There are a few attributes that do seem to be included though that probably shouldn't be. For instance, how do you train Composure on your own? Not possible IMO. I disagree. Having a player train one-on-one with the keeper, practising running in and focusing on keeping calm to slot the ball in would raise a player's composure. There are also breathing exercises that help with this, and I imagine a few psychology-minded coaches could help massively in this regard.
pelicanstuff
I think composure is the only one that is trainable? Also, I'm interested in the 'penalty saving' option for goalkeepers and what effect that has.

I'm not sure about this, I don't think the factors that cause players to lose composure are accurately replicable in a training ground environment. Composure is used in every part of the pitch, by the way, not just in scoring.
chuz
Also, I'm interested in the 'penalty saving' option for goalkeepers and what effect that has. I expect it would increase their penalty saving attribute... (it's hidden, which is probably why you're not familiar with it).
pelicanstuff
Hmmm, I have never heard of such a hidden attribute, must be new. Are you sure it exists?
ArsenalFan7
So what does it improve for penalties, their ability to read where the shot is going, their stance or what... It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, i've always thought of penalty saving as a thing of luck.
pelicanstuff
As somebody who used to keep goal a bit, I would say it's a combination of the following: 1) If you play regularly against the taker, remembering where he likes to put it. 2) Psyching out the taker. 3) Once the taker starts running up, focus on the ball. ArsenalFan7
I can understand it better now. As for the whole creativity thing though I did find my player's creativity rose swiftly after placing him on passing training focus, perhaps a coincidence though
Sheva Elite
I think they should have indiviual focus for pretty much every stat. You can improve on everything to a certain extent. Some are more obvious than others. Like set pieces are very easy to practise individually, as is strength
grep
Please correct me if I am wrong but " pace " stat misses too.

Sky have been making a big deal over the number of penalty saves this year and are putting it down to the keepers being better researched, which is what I'd expect this training to cover. dafuge
Please correct me if I am wrong but " pace " stat misses too. You can train 'quickness' as an individual focus.
grep
You can train 'quickness' as an individual focus. Does it affect agility, acceleration or pace ? It sounds a bit confusing IMO Thanks
DDWZ
Quickness is acceleration and pace I believe. Agility is already an item in the list.
ommerson
Isnt creativity more of a feature that one has or one hasnt? People are born more creative than another. Hard to train that I guess.. A player can be encouraged to play more creative (with more risk), but to learn a player creativity seems rather impossible, you eather have it or you dont. JEinchy
Creativity in this case would mean how well a player can spot a gap in the defence. Obviously there are some players that seem more natural at it than others (Xavi for example), but I'd imagine you could train a player to keep his head up and look around for gaps to exploit. You can't teach the genius of someone like Xavi, but it is possible to improve this aspect of ones game. In game, the stat doesn't increase by that much from what I've seen. Indi75
I thought creativity also grew from creative freedom? No? Seem to recall it being discussed last year at some point.
