Are his stats set in the editor or are they random? If they're set, I think they're a little high based on the only managerial experience he's had, where he didn't do brilliantly if we're honest.

They're probably mostly random with a few set attributes.

I'm guessing you're about 15 years in? Managers, just like players, improve over time. As Shearer is quite young, he especially has improving to do.

No I'm not that far in, only in 2016, but his stats have been great from the start tbh. Guess he just got great random stats in my game, which is fair enough, maybe he will be that good IRL given the chance.

In my first season, Gerard Houlier was sacked by Aston Villa. They then appointed Davie Moyes with Everton due compensation. Alan Shearer was then appointed the job at Everton.
