CazzaLTFC
Downloaded the 11.0.2 patch and still my match engine runs slowly! The only way I can get it running properly is if I install the game with the disk with no patches, very very frustrating! I think this might be the first FM I actually have to give up on... CazzaLTFC
Cheers for the feedback Neil. I've searched high and low on the Intel website but every time I try to download the one that sounds right it says it isn't compatible with this system. I'm on a Intel® Core i3 CPU, Packard Bell, Easynote TM86 if that's any help!
Karna
Try here http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/download. It's packard bell's website. You should be able to find VGA drivers for your model here.
eple
Cheers for the feedback Neil. I've searched high and low on the Intel website but every time I try to download the one that sounds right it says it isn't compatible with this system. I'm on a Intel® Core i3 CPU, Packard Bell, Easynote TM86 if that's any help! He means drivers for the graphics card, not the cpu. I think your laptop uses nvidia, and maybe nvidia Geforce 310m? You can get the drivers from their page.
daylight
If it is a nvidia card you can find the drivers here... http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us If you are unsure which card you have just select the option for it to automatically scan your system. CazzaLTFC
Right, I've downloaded the VGA driver that suites my system. What do I do now? Does it need to be extracted to anywhere in particular? Again, ta for the help guys!
daylight
Well they advise you to delete your old driver 1st but to be honest sometimes I do and sometimes I don't and have never had an issue with it,if your are not sure what you are doing then don't bother. Just run the download and it will extract and install the driver in the right folder for you.
Karna
Just install it like a normal PC Game (clicking the NEXT button ), then restart your laptop and try FM
daylight
Maybe a small tip for the future is to save the download on to your desktop,no going through folders looking for it,also when you do delete your old drivers it is sitting there waiting for you. CazzaLTFC
Hmm, fired up a new game on FM and the match engine is still abit slow and cumbersome. Still don't understand that if all the other FM's, the FM11 demo and the version of FM11 which I download from the disc without patches work, but any patched version doesn't. Just strange :S
CazzaLTFC
Oh, and whats the difference between downloading a driver for Windows 7 64 bit and just normal windows 7? Gives me both of those options to setup, i've tried to 64 bit version so far...
daylight
You need to select what Windows 7 you are running it will either be 64 or
