edwingray Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 Managing Harrogate and got them promoted in my second season, also (luckily) reached FA Trophy final. So, I'm quite popular at the club. Beginning of third season (first in Conference Prem) get a message that the club has been taken over and "the new board were always looking to install a new manager after the take over". Was, to put it mildly, pretty miffed, after three games (W0, D2, L1) got a second message that the board see how much I care for the club and would like me to stay on as manager. I'd just spent about 45 minutes game time swearing at the chairman and expecting the chop after every game. One of many nice touches that are in the game. bigdanio Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 I was taken over at a very sucessful club (of my own making) and I lost 2 and drew 1 and the chairman said I could stay.
