bigdanio
Sir Bobby Charlton bought my Man Utd team for £320m in 2022. He would be 85 then. And somehow became super rich. Some directors like Sir Bobby should not be considered for buying out the club. I'm sure he has a few quid but nowhere near that amount. I doubt the bank would lend that sort of money to someone that old either.

Dekker2
Where does it say he bought the club?Sure he wasn't just a director/chairman? WHS. Wooing Sir Bobby to front your consortium would be a shrewd PR move for anyone trying to take over Man Utd. The "Red Knights" certainly tried it. No one ever talks about Bruce Buck at Chelsea, they talk about Abramovich, but it's Buck that's the chairman. It's not Garry Cook's money at Man City, nor is it Al Mubarak's, but they're the ones whose names you see.
demodave
In Earlier versions of FM Bobby Charlton was still at Man Utd as a director 30/40 + years into the game. I dont think they age like normal staff/players. Also not sure its changed.
