JiggyDempsey
Certain things that seem possible IRL but not in Football Manager, I think we should make a nice list for SI to mull through. I'll go first.... Q. Why isnt it possible to get a team to buyout the final 6 months of a players' contract? This is common IRL (I can give examples), whether it be a compensation agreement after a pre contract has been signed or a team bidding for a player because they want them specifically for the 2nd half of the season. Seems once 6 months is remaining you can only take a gamble that you might have a chance of offloading the player for 0 or just end up seeing a player sign a pre contract and you end up play for his wages for 6 months. Blacksquare
That would make sense. Although I guess the way SI does it is just buy that player for $0 in Jan.
athos
Q. Why isn't it possible to issue match instruction to particular players so they would get sent off for wasting time on purpose? Mourinho did it IRL. Players never get yellow cards for wasting time in the game.
Celtic_1967
Q. Why is it impossible to take a quick free kick? The number of times I've sat there thinking, 'If he'd just knock that forward now we'd be away for a goal.'
