saaudit2005mt.dll missing - so game will not install

So, I'm pretty annoyed to say the least.

I just went out and paid €49.99 for this game.

I have Windows 7 on my laptop btw.

So I put it in, and it wont install via steam because of a problem.

So I try to install from the disk, then the disk just keeps spinning around and then when I take it out and put it in again, it says saaudit2005mt.dll is missing.

What the hell is going on???

Please download the following file

After you have downloaded, unzip the file saAuditMD.dll and place in the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011

You are receiving the error: This application has failed to start because saAuditMT2005.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix the problem'

In this case, go to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011

Then rename the saAuditMT.dll file to saAuditMT2005.dll and this should resolve the issue.

This error often occurs because people copy or cut their FM.exe directly to the desktop

Do not do this, always create a 'shortcut' and cut that to your desktop

To create a desktop shortcut

1. Navigate to the FM11 installation folder (C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011)

2. Right click on the FM11.exe icon

3. Choose Send to Desktop (create shortcut)

Note the Steam install can be found at this location:

C:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2011

Thanks but this error happens WHILE i'm installing the game, so I don't even have it installed yet, but the solution seems to think otherwise .

I'm in for a long night ...

What is happening, is that about 1/3 of the way through installation it stops on "data" and just does nothing.

So I took the cd out and put it back in and I still get that error message

Ok now that works, but I can't get the game into English (I bought it in France)
