Sjmclean
This may be in the wrong place basically I have had him for three seasons now, but this season he is struggling for fitness. Scoring goals for fun, something like 12 in 9 games but his fitness is sitting at like 90% and he can barley last 45minutes. Now I recommended a stint in reserves to sort this and he had a fit. So what should I do? Cheers
Dar2000
What does his condition say? "Tired" "Match Fit" etc..? If he is starting everygame at 90% it sounds like he is match fit but just needs a rest. Leave him out of a mid week game
stonegate
I had a player do this to me before. It turned out to be that he had maximum injury proneness and although no messages came up he was always picking up a knock.
GoonerFin
What's his training schedule like? If it's on the heavy side, he might not recover well after matches because of the workload. Try giving him a one day rest after the match?
Sjmclean
Cheers for the advice. I work my players hard, I have a couple of nothing games coming up in the champions league and fa cup so was planning resting him then. I thought it could be an ongoing injury thing but he has only had one injury and that was a broken arm over a year ago so not that. Any more advice? postal postie
whats his fitness after 45 minutes? i am happy to play a player until their fitness gets into the 60s
Sjmclean
it varies between 60 and 35%. his fitness is currently tired after last match. Ive decided to rest him for a couple of weeks and withdraw from his international squad.
themadsheep2001
OP i have Dzeko in my side as well. I play quite heavy pressing attacking game. I dont work him too hard in training, because he doesnt recover too well
bigdanio
Woah, I would never play a player with less than 90% fitness. Rest him from training, let him get to 100%, if he loses match fitness give him 30-45 mins until he has 100% and is either 'Fully Fit' or 'Match Fit'. Lindhoffen
Edin Dezko is, in my opinion, a next to worthless player with a serious need of attitude adjustment. I haven't checked him in the editor but it wouldn't surprise me if he really was injury prone as well.
Sjmclean
I disagree with your post lindhoffen, his scoring is first season(half): 12 goals, 2nd (full): 18 and 3rd (16games): 19goals. plays so well beside Tevez who has 16 in 16.
