dking Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Apparently Torres and Shelvey are amongst a few other players who are finding it difficult to motivate themselves with Gerrard as captain. Gerrard is 31 and one of the best players in the game, not to mention that Torres and Shelvey have him as favoured personel. We won the title and Europa league in our first season with Gerrard as captain and we are playing our second friendly of the new season.
