Quick Question

I've just had one of my players demand a transfer because I refused to fufil a promise I made to give him regular first team football. the only problem he's started 8 games out of the 11 that have been played so far in the league. Should I have changed his squad status to reflect his first team status or is this some kind of bug?

I think if you promise him that , you need to reflect it in his squad status, so yes, try it and see if he cheers up.

You know, I can actually identify with him personally. I've been working at a place for over two years without a contract. My boss says 'I pay you every month, you don't need a contract'. Yet it makes me feel unvalued and affects my morale. I think it's a similar think psychologically.

Has said make sure his squad status is accurate.

Also if he has a good game on player interaction you could praise his performance and say he is one of your keys player right now.

You can't tell him he's a key player and keep him as back-up, though. They do expect you to be honest!

Just say you played well keep it up. No need to overinflate his importance!
