Saved Games with Steam

Can a game that I saved first with FM11 playing under Steam then be loaded up by a version of FM11 not installed with Steam?

Yes as you can copy and paste the game into the new directory if your talking about another PC (use a usb stick). Even the same pc as long as you find the game then copy/paste.

yes steam doesnt creat the save game FM does, you can play your save game on any copy of FM11.

where are the save games stored? ive checked all the folders i know of but cant find them.

look for the steam folder in programme files, then steam apps, then either sports interactive or FM cant remember exactly where and you will find them in there

save games should be in my documents/sports interative/football manager 2011/games or something like that. sorry not at home so cant be 100%, but its definitely in the si folder in your my documents

My games are stored here >> My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\games

The saved games are all in your My Documents folder (or just Documents from Vista onwards), under Sports Interactive/FM2011/Games (or something like that). I don't think you'll need to do anything to move them since both versions of FM save their files in the same place - just start up the other version and it should find them.
