Unreasonably high number of yellow cards in U19-games?

Recommended Posts

Took control of every team in my club this season, and while it's fun I've noticed something: around a dozen yellow cards are handed out nearly every game. For an example of this, I here is a screenshot of my last game:

15 yellow cards, and two get a red one. I don't see how it can be my tactics; I use the same tactics that I use for my first team and they get a "normal" amount of cards and my opponents also gets the same number of cards.

As far as I see, there are three possible reasons as to why this is:

1. Crappy players(as most of them are) are more prone to getting cards

2. The junior league refs are set to be a lot harsher

3. A bug

So, the question is, which one is the correct one? Or am I missing something?

id say a mixture of the top 2. You will find the lower down the league you go the lower the standard and the more yellow cards etc, so this would apply to under 19's i feel, also they probably dont have the best standard of refs so this would contribute.

Actually you can see the ref is Brage Sandmoen(and it always seems to be him), and he's a premier division ref...
