Tutoring problems

I have a 37 year old Frank Lampard in my dover team. He has great mental stats and I think he could be an excellent tutor as he has Influence of 20 and 18 determination and a 'leader' personality. He is also my captain. However, when I talk to him his tutoring option is greyed out and unavailable. why?

Also I have players in the reserves who are 18 year old and have the squad status of Hot Prospect but I am unable to tutor them, why is this?

have you tried to use him as a tutor recently? i think you can only aske players to tutor twice a season

None of my senior players can tutor. I think the system is badly bugged, yes.

It actually says 'Not old enough' (to tutor)
