Josip Iličić

Recommended Posts

In the game is Josip Iličić very bad and he don't deserve that. He is also in Palermo reserve team and he have DM stats. The highest technical atributes are marking and tehnique(13). :(

For everyone who don't know, Iličić play for Palermo FIRST team and for Slovenian national team.

J.Pastore and Iličić are the best players of Palermo. Iličić have even better rating then Pastore! You need to watch some Palermo match and you will see how good player he is.

Here is the Iličić's page from Seria A site:

http://www.legaseriea.it/it/serie-a-tim/calciatore?p_p_id=BDC_dettaglio_calciatore_WAR_LegaCalcioBDC&p_p_lifecycle=0&p_p_state=normal&p_p_mode=view&p_p_col_id=column-1&p_p_col_pos=1&p_p_col_count=2&_BDC_dettaglio_calciatore_WAR_LegaCalcioBDC_idPersona=65757

You can see, he scored 6 goals in 13 matches :)

I thing you need to improve him ;)

It happens...

and as TRWS said, nobody was really expecting him to be half as good as he has been thus far... Actually he could easily have been one of the many "cheap obscure foreigners" Italian mid-table clubs love to bring in every year, in hope to find an hidden gem.

Apparently Palermo have made a good find, but the odds of both Slovenians turning out to be unremarkable or even plain indaequate were much lower than those of them being just fine, or even impressive (like Ilicic has been).

So, maybe a raise of like 10 CA points could be needed on the next patch, but the "we can't boost every player who plays 20 good matches" argument is always valid... We can't judge a player by half a season, otherwise in patch 11.2 the likes of Torres, Milito and Rooney should get substantial cuts in the upcoming patch.

No, that is wrong sheva. They clearly have immense quality, but outside problems and pychological difficulties have cost them form and fitness, it happens. But you can't decrease all their stats because of this, and it is impossible to simulate what they've gone through in the game without it having long term knock on effects which would be imbalanced.

Torres probably deserves a bigger injury prone rating and lower natural fitness, and maybe Rooney has one or two overrated stats, but overall they are fair. It's Gerrard who's ratings are too much imo, but that is for this thread

Ilicic is probably the single most underrated player in the database right now, but since hardly anyone has actually watched him play...

Plenty of people have watched him play but before a player can be given substantial improvements in the game they need to perform well for a sustained period of time. If he continues his current level of performances for the rest of the season then he will get a nice boost for FM2012, but as things stand he hasn't shown enough of what he can do to warrant a much higher CA/PA as the only time he has ever really shown what he can do has been in the first half of this season, and there have always been players that have started well, or had a brilliant run of form, but then faded into obscurity again so you can't make judgements based on a handful of good performances.

In Real Life.

I was in slovenia in july this year watching Hibs play Maribor in the Europa League and He scored 2 good goals against us. I just knew he was going to be a good player in real life and in real life Liverpool and Bayern Munchen are after him.
