skinner05
Did a manual uninstall after having a few issues with the game. Since doing the uninstall, my laptop doesn't run the disk/doesn't go into installation setup, I have to do it through viewing the files on the disk. Then when installation is finished it says some errors occured during the install and to look at the installation log for more details (where can this be found?). Any idea what I may have done during the manual uninstall to cause this?
chuz
You can find the install log in the installation directory (by default C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011). Have a look at that and/or post it here.
skinner05
Having looked at the installation log there was just one non fatal error, which was: Custom Action: com.sigames.InstallAnywhere.WindowsGameExplorer Status: ERROR Additional Notes: ERROR - class com.sigames.InstallAnywhere.WindowsGameExplorer NonfatalI I take it that it is nothing to be worried about? Ishu
Go to control panel and uninstall FM from there. Probably the DVD is detecting an installation and this will hopefully fix it.
