Manager previous experience bug?

Very minor, but whenever I choose Sunday League or Semi-Proff previous experience, half the time it just sets itself as "Automatic" when I look at my manager profile. This is undesirable as it leads to a higher level of experience than wanted, which is annoying when I'm trying to start unemployed.

The weird thing is if I quit the game and start a new save, depending on my luck, it might end up giving me the experience I want. It's really 50/50.

Any explanations? Is it a bug?

Sounds like you aren't loading enough low rep leagues, if you load leagues where a sunday league rep manager is very unlikely to get a job the game auto adjusts your rep so that you aren't left permanently unemployed.

Well, for example, just now I tried to take over an Italian Serie C2 team, I tried with Sunday League and Semi-Pro and both times turned up "automatic". On my third try, with Sunday League, I got what I wanted in game. Just seems weird.
