Anyone had a gk score??

Has anyone had a GK score in a cup final in the last mintue too keep them in the game or anything like that???

Not in a cup final and not sure if it was 10 or 11 but Alex Smithies scored an 80 yard free kick for my Villa team, I was so proud as he had just broke into the team

in my first season as spurs i was in the fa cup final losing 1-0 too west ham in the 90th min and gomes hit the post thats the closest ive came too having a gk score!

Ahhh. The Goal Keeper. I've not done it since FM08, but I used to have a challenge thread in CSE for 06, 07 and 08, where you had to get your keeper to score as many as possible. Quite often the people who took part would have the keeper score in excess of 20 goals a season. I had 1 GK score 4 in one game once

on fm10 i had my goalie score in the 1st ever match i played and petr cech scored against me from his own box though i still won that game

Playing in the Peruvian league my best penalty and free kick taker is the goalkeeper, so in the best Chilavert/ Rogerio Ceni South American tradition he comes charging upfield every time there's a dead ball. Never missed a pen, and has scored some scorching free kicks. And his name quite wonderfully is Johnny Vegas!!!

in 2010 i had Valdes score a goal from a goal kick

Just had Gomes score in a mammoth penalty shootout to decide the CL quarter final between my Celtic team and Liverpool (we won 7-6 after 13 penalties each).

there are a handful of keepers out there with good penalty stats. i had an argentine goalkeeper in the Greek league in fm2010 who scored 12 from the spot in one season. in 2011 i had a keeper in the 2n div who scored 4 penalties.

Sadly, goals aren't counted in GK histories.

I have my goalie taking my penalties!! He has 11/11 for the season.

Literally just had it for Boro against Man U to make it 2-2 with 2 minutes to go. It was Jason Steele, my backup keeper too. Before that I had Carini taking penalties for a while so he grabbed a few, but never from open play.

can i ask how do you get your keeper in the box for a corner when your a goal down in the last minute? thanks

My goalies dont seem to rush forward any more (new tactics screen).

Even on Overload etc the goalies don't wanna be a hero, even 1-0, corner, extra time in a final.

Just recently I had an injury crisis and only had 3 subs on the bench, one keeper and two outfield players, used up the two outfield subs then another player got injured and had to bring on my keeper Peter Enkleman on 70 mins, playing him as an attacking mid, score is 1-1. He only bloody wins the ball from the opposition then plays a killer through ball to set up the winning goal!
