My own players get nervous if I get the pre-match or half time team talk wrong. Maybe I say "I expect a win" and put too much pressure on them. I can make an opposition danger man nervous by speaking to the press about him, putting too much pressure on him. Do you get a news item before games with the next oppo manager saying 'Messi must be stopped'? That can make him nervous. Counter it by telling him you have faith, or no pressure.
