filcom101
does this sound familiar........ Loose Ball...... the nearest player to it is one of yours....... he runs to it...... about 3 yards away from the ball my player slows down to a walking pace....... then BOOM ! an opposition player bombs 20, 30 years in 2 seconds and gets to the ball first or win's it in a challenge ....... mmmmmmmmm if they can fix it in the 2nd patch why cant they fix it before the game comes out !! still like the game
baresi
the bug is still out there. you can watch it nearly every game.
ghend
Happens to me too, almost every other game, although I play in the lower leagues so maybe it's because my defenders are carp.
CityAndColour
Even Sunday league players don't run towards a ball and then stop, so I'm not sure why playing at a low level should matter.
S.G.
Yeah I noticed this too. Although they usually speed up again just in time to reach the ball first they're already in a worse position because they let the opposing player get so close to them. tingting
This bug has been there since FM 09. There was a thread about the overall defending aspect of the game last year...my belief is that this has come on ever since SI decided to add fancy graphics to the game and are still continuing to interfere with the ME by adding some stupid celebration animations which clearly are unnecessary
